From 1 July, the Public Trustee will be cutting access to their Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney preparation service by half - now limiting the service to solely those with a concession card.

According to InDaily, approximately 40 per cent of the Wills prepared by the Public Trustee each year are eventually revoked or re-worked by an external legal service before a personโs death. Between 2008 and 2015, the number of revoked Wills actually exceeded the number of new Wills written by the Public Trustee.
