William’s primary area of practice is family law, where he undertakes a significant amount of advocacy work. He regularly appears for clients at mention hearings, interim defended hearings, Family Dispute Resolution Conferences and conciliation conferences.
He assists clients across a broad range of family law matters, including parenting disputes and property settlements, and is experienced in progressing matters through both negotiated and litigated pathways. William is a strong advocate for achieving efficient and commercially sensible outcomes while firmly protecting his clients’ interests.
He adopts a no-nonsense approach to progressing matters toward resolution and is valued for his ability to remain focused, decisive and responsive under pressure.
Additional Experience & Collaborative Practice
William has previously practised in personal injury law, specialising in hearing loss claims. While he no longer practises in this area, he brings the negotiation and dispute resolution skills developed during that time to his family law practice.
